Samhain- a poem

Flames dance upon the fire
Leaves dance upon the wind
Sleeping beauty will slumber
As Samhain returns again

 Moon with her silver slippers
 Caresses each crashing wave
As the tide returns to the earth
 And ancestors from their grave

They who are wise among us
     Bear knowledge of the arcane
Who honor the door now open
     When Samhain returns again
